Mesa Verde National Park

Hi All,
I figure if I do these updates more often they won't be so long. We'll see.

Yesterday we moved from South Fork, Colorado to Ignacio, Colorado. We're staying in the "RV Park" of the Sky Ute Casino and Resort. It's nice, cheap and we have access to the pool, hot tub and showers of the resort. Today we drove up to Mesa Verde National Park where Susan's niece Honey drove down from Colorado Springs to spend the day with us. It was a very good day. The history of the "Ancestral Pueblo" people that built and lived in these dwellings was very interesting.

From South Fork to Ignacio we passed by Chimney Rock National Monument,

The "Cliff Palace" cliff dwellings that we toured

Photographic evidence that Honey was indeed with us.

A view down the canyon.
Looking the other direction

A different cliff dwelling we saw from an overlook across the canyon.

That's all for now.
Take care.
Brian
